Steven Erikson has written this book, Blood Follows which comes out some time this month. There is only a limited printed.

From what I know, the Hardback, is signed by him, by Donaldson, and the artist. While the Paperback is just signed by Erikson.

I'll post more info when I get it. By the way, you can on buy it direct from the publishers PSPublishing.co.uk or amazon.co.uk .

amazon.co.uk doesn't have any info on it unfortunately. I would love to find out what it is about and why it's only a limited print!

How did you find out about it being limited print?

Blood Follows
Steven Erikson's new book 'Blood Follows', comes out this month (March). It is a novella, following two of the character from MoI, and has a limited print run. The Hardback is £26 from amazon.co.uk , is signed by the author (Erikson), the introducer (in this case it's Stephen R. Donaldson), and possibly by the cover artist. The Paperback which is £8, will be signed by Erikson alone.

"I'm doing a fantasy novella set in the same world as GARDENS OF THE MOON. It involves two characters from the third book: sort of the evil versions of Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser. It will appear as a book from PS Publishing."

You can either order it from www.amazon.co.uk (http://www.amazon.co.uk) or www.pspublishing.co.uk (http://www.pspublishing.co.uk) directly.

end copy/paste.

Sounds good. Better be good seems i've ordered it http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif.

The characters. I haven't read MoI yet but could he be referring to Mappo the Trell and Icarium?

Nope they are not in book three.

What's your guess Cal?

Well some people over at malazanempire have mentioned Bauchelain and Korbral Broach. They are necromancers from MoI. If it is about those two it should be pretty interesting.

Oh who the heck are Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser?

The PS Publishers have done a good job on these books.

The books are usually novella size and short, (about 60-70 pages)with the HB's signed by the author and the people who have written the introductions - for example I have a Stephen Baxter signed by him and Greg Bear who wrote the introduction, and a Peter F Hamilton, signed by him and Larry Niven.

They do horror stories as well and I heard that they were branching out into Fantasy. They usually sell FAST. This one sounds like a goodie!

On the downside, the covers are a bit erm, amateurish, and they are short. £26 rather than the normal £17 for a HB?

On the plus side, if you can't afford the full blown HB copies, they have a habit of publishing them later in 'normal' HB with three or four in a book.

Quite so Hobbit.

I'm wondering what can possibly justify a £25 price for a hardcover of 50-100 pages (or 60-70). That's just way too much, whatever the story quality. I'll buy it in pb and even then it's expensive (but acceptable for a fan). I wonder why these small hardcovers cost much more than even 800 page HC's.

Evil version of Fafhrd and Grey Mouser???

Hmmmmmmmmmmm...

Kruppe and... who?
I really can't imagine who'll be "worthy enought to acompany the mighty Kruppe in the story that might feture his majesty as a mythic hero"!
