Well, here's my tuppence;

Memory, Sorrow, Thorn- Tad Williams
Fafhrd & Gray Mouser- Fritz Leiber
Book of the New Sun- Gene Wolfe
Eternal Champion (ALL of them)- Michael Moorcock
Runelords- David Farland
Song of Earth and Fire- George RR Martin
Riftwar Saga (only the first series or so..)
-Raymond Feist
Lord of the Rings- Tolkien
Sword of Truth- Terry Goodkind

OK..it's easier to say ones that I DON'T read.

No Wheel of Time, no David Eddings, no Terry Brooks....Get the picture? I don't like these bestselling sagas that go on forever and really pretty much say NOTHING new. Ugh.

True. But each one has something unique about them that makes them stand out from the "same old, same old". THAT'S why I read them. And I have read all the others...I just didn't like them.

Ahh, I see..ok..

I am currently reading Brotherhood of the Wolf..Excellent Book 1...Though, it seems to be taking a long time for the third book to come out, Wizard Born.

I have to agree with the Goodkind comments a couple posts above. I didn't enjoy WFR at all, so I didn't read on in the series. It seems totally contrived and unoriginal to me.

I like Robert Jordan, though. I can, however, understand why some people don't enjoy the Wheel of Time very much. It is (or was) getting out of hand for a book or two. There was a time that I thought I would have to start taking notes in order to keep up with all of the plots, sub-plots, and story lines. It's almost too sprawling. I suppose I got hooked when Jordan was still writing book 4, and haven't been able (or wanted) to lose interest yet.

George Martin's Song of Ice and Fire can't really be called vast and sprawling yet, since he's only two books into it. I think if he goes much over 5-6 books, though, he might lose a few readers.
