looking for a tv movie

I remember seeing this movie on tv that had a fantasy theme. the main character was a girl that was protected by a older man who was a warrior.
There was a witch or a sorceress that had a cloak that could change form. she could change into a bird. theres one scene I remember when the girl is tricked when she wakes one morning when she's kidnapped by the soceress who disquise herself and her black horse. When she kidnaps he she asks for he cloak so she can change back
