Hi, I don't know if this question has been asked before or not but is there any novels that are written in a similar style to the TV show Lost. By this I mean in a similar genre' like Lost. I am a huge fan of the show.

There are a couple of Lost novels out there that take place on the island, they deal with some background characters, there's also the tie-in novel called Bad Twin that was supposedly written by Gary Troup, the guy who gets sucked into the turbine in the pilot episode.

I don't think it is.
But then again I wouldn't put it beyond the writers to make "the others" a bunch of english public school boys who just never got rescued.
You could check out a film called "The Island" which has some similarities to "Lost".
I'm refering to a 1980's film starring Michael Caine not the recent Sci-fi blockbuster.

The Island is essentially THX 1138 but with big blockbuster explosions. Not sure I'd compare it to Lost, the only real similarity would seem to be the presence of an island. :)

Island by Richard Laymon is about a group stranded on a Island. Not for the faint hearted or kiddies though :)
