ON winter's heart he tries to regain the invidualist fantasy that the series began with... the moron, he was better off biting the political schema from Frank Herbert, because his ****'s getting steadily worse. Winter's heart is trash, and even the ending isn't what it could have been. He's trying to recover the feel of the first few novels, and its pathetic. Development is minimal, as is his case now, and once again he limits how much closure novels have. The great thing about the first 5 books were that they were sequential yet worked separately, but with each successive book building on the previous until mr Jordan had us expecting some immensely complicated climax...

BTW, George Martin fell on, his series is 10 times better than Robert Jordan could hope for.
