As for the unmatching tables .... they go perfectly with her unmatched vases.
Touché! :D

Okay, if the lines on the left side of the PYL are table structures, what, pray tell, is the line on right side of the PYL?

Ok, because inquiring minds want to know (well, at least one inquiring mind wants to know), here are the three nesting tables. They do, in fact, all have the same pattern to their supports; it's just that it is not apparent from the angle they are seen at in the main picture.

Eureka!
The ancient one finally perceives the message in the portrait....or something like that. I believe what happened to me is that the wood of the table on the PYL's right is very dark. For me, it blended into the background so that I did not recognize there was a table standing there. Same comment applies to lip of left hand vase. When viewed apart from the picture, as you so kindly allow above, then the shape and colors of the vase make much more sense to me. I still think the vase's artisan put too much color in the neck and not enought in the lips, but, hey, I punch a keyboard for fun while she made her living making pottery.
And I still think the PYL is much too clever than to decorate her rooms with mis-matched vases. She must be idling time in some young man's quarters.

Well, now that we have that cleared up... :) (Although I will grant you that those tables are too dang dark. I can't seem to get them to reflect hardly any light at all, as you can see above. They actually do have a nice pattern to them, but it's entirely lost when the scene is actually lit...)

So, moving right along... In preparation for Halloween, a scary looking lass...

I love the shirt with the crazy cutouts. The background actually looks like the set of B horror movie, as if the lady is 'on set.'

Good, except her face, particularly eyes, is too glassy dollish to go with the rest of the picture. Can we give her sunglasses? :)

Her eyes are supposed to be slightly goulish, silly...

Actually, she looks bored having to pose for this pic. Maybe put something scary creeping up behind her. Or make it darker with mysterious shadows.

And let's do something with the ground, please. I've heard of carpet grass but a carpet for grass in a cemetary? Before you can whistle up a moonlight and shadows explanation, check out the base of the tombstone and along the base of the fence, not a blade of grass in sight. Best danged lawn manicure I've ever seen.
