Superb improvement, Rad! Now, if you can get that axe to glow and toss it into the Micronauts pic ...

I like the new version much more than the original. For one thing, it is more up close and personal and the wind machine is doing interesting things with her hair. Which brings up a philosophical question: why is it that windblown hair is more attractive? All the best commercials have windblown hair, even Victoria's Secret which never takes place outside. Imagine living in a house with fans going constantly that can move hair around like this.
There is a nit to be picked with the new version. The shadows on her left hand fingers at first looked like fake fingernails, you know the kind. But then they would have to extend to the second knuckle and that made no sense so I concluded they were shadows. In the end, I think they are too much shadow and should be lightened up a bit.

Thanks, guys! HE, I've fixed her hand up and re-posted the picture above. I had meant to fix her hand anyway, because it had been a little too claw-like in the original, and had forgotten to do it. So I straightened her fingers out a bit while I was at it. Still some shadow on them, but that's the way the light actually falls... :)

Dazz - I've found an axe! Not this one, but something else. Still working on fixes to the Speedbikes pix. I'll re-post it once I've got it done.

Ok, here's an update to the Speedbikes picture. It's also at a rather jumbo-size, since it seemd to me to work better that way. If it's too big, let me know and I'll re-post it smaller.

I've replaced the light saber with a sort-of laser axe, or at least something giving an impression of some kind of energy-absorbing defensive weapon. I've also lightened up the hanger opening behind them to make it clearer where they were flying from, and have been working on the whole "speed blur" thing to give a bit more hint of movement.

Cool! KatG should like it now.

I do like it, except for two possible points:

1) The colors of the axe and deflected light beam are maybe a little too magic wandish, and thus may jar with the more muted and realistic tones of most of the picture. I would suggest toning it down a little.

2) The tail end of the axe intersects with a spike/axle thingy sticking out from the guy's bike, and so makes it look as if the axe is attached to the bike.

I wonder if the local police would consider installing those journeybots down on King Street for Friday nights?

The truly ludicrous thing about the picture IS the exposed wiring, you realise that, don't you?

I, for one, would never argue ludicrous with Rocket Sheep.
I'd just point out that there must be a gravity field because the loose wires are each hanging as if responding to the same source. Positing gravity, then, when the hero leans over his hair ought to respond as the wires do, but, no, his hair is windblown across his face which suggests movement as the Radical Thorn was working towards. It also suggests a neomodern barber with a wicked sense of humor to leave the right side long enough to span across his face while balancing that with short hair on his left side. So, to finally get to the point: why isn't the heroine's hair reacting similarly? Her's seems to be content to react to the gravity source.

The wires indicate that these people are, indeed, the Micronauts, taking industrial espionage to a whole new - micro - level. As a defense most people now install nano bot guardians.

Pardon the Interruption from your regularly scheduled webcast. We interrupt to bring you this informative clip about Rocket Sheep has been up to these past few days.

(RS: Were Weta spying on me? This can't be a real movie. It is almost impossible to make people afraid of sheep. At least they didn't have me growing steel wool and driving tractors like I had to for Wicked)
