I'm new to the forum & just wanted to know if it was OK to post a story here to be critiqued. Thanks.

Happens every day. The generally preferred method, unless it is a relatively short fragment, appears to be to upload it to the stories section and then start a thread asking for critique and include a link to the story.

Welcome, and yes, that is the way we've ended up posting stories to critique. Click on the "Stories" section above, then follow the directions. Usually critique requests are posted in this "writing" section, take down, or cut and paste the address of the story. If you need help, ask, really, someone who knows what they're doing (which kind of takes me out of the running) will explain.

Also, it's not required, but it does help in the good will department, to watch for other stories to critique.

Good sailing:)

Please post your story to be critiqued.

You'll need to log into the forum first with your Forum account. Click on the Stories tab and go through the "become a member".

In the story section, click on New Story. Put in your title, summary and story. When you're done, make sure the Status says "Published". If it's set to Draft we can't see it. Then press the "Save Story " button.

Get the URL for the page your story's on then paste it in over here.
