[Corporal Blues]

Hey yall,

I just finished up The Monarchies of God series by Paul Kearney, and now I need help deciding where to go next...

I have on tap:
The Scar-China Mieville
Daughter of the Blood-Anne Bishop
Dawnthief-James Barclay

any tips as to who to choose? Any help would be appreciated.:D

I'd say James Barclay followed closely by Mieville's The Scar.

Hey, Rob B, thanks for the link to the reccomendation thread...it's amazing!

I went there to check it out and now I have discovered a bunch of new authors I wanna read.

Of course, before I bite off more then I can chew, if anyone has more insight about the authors I mentioned above I'd love to hear it. Aside from reading Mieville's Perdido Street Station, I havent read the other two.

I really liked the Bishop series, but it isnt the same style as Kearney or Mieville

Honestly, 3 good authors, 3 differing styles.

each are worth reading.

no comments on Barclay, cant recall if Ive ever read anything by him.
