getting off of books for just a second, do any of you read any fantasy comics? There are several good ones out there (and I'm not just talking about Battle Chasers, either)
Knights of the Dinner Table is good parody of the genre; Cerebus by dave simms is of course, a dandy...if you guys think waiting for Wheel of time to finish is painful time wise, Cerebus is a twenty-six year long project...Hellraiser is more horror than fantasy, but I love it. John Constantine is one of my favorite magic users...and, typically, The Sandman was superb whilst it lasted. (So was Preacher, which wasn't fantasy, but I had to mention it anyway... )
a veritable multitude of japanese manga comics are wonderful fantasy...Blade of the Immortal comes to mind...
any ideas?
