I don't know about you guys, but 2 much powerfull and more and more powerfull charachters make me like this series less and less...
just like vampire chronicles, vampire lestat was my favourite book, and all after i couldn't but hate, to much hard core power kills the quality

Yeah, but if you have several powerful characters on opposing sides, than it can really balance out the story. Erikson preserves interest because there is not just one character who can blow everybody out of the water. Of course, this means that normal humans are less and less powerful compared to everybody else, and maybe this is what you dislike. I myself really like the dilemma of the humans in a story where they are able to be major players in the plot while still being significantly less powerful than almost everyone else. Kind of like the old Greek myths.

so is in vampire cronicles, or dragonball z cartoons, u just get another super power after another and good guys struggle to keep up until it gets just plane stupid meaningless, normal charachters became unsifignificant in that megalomanic world of crazy powerlvls. No adventure just to damn powerfull guys disstroying everything around them

I guess it just depends on how the author uses his characters, powerfull or not...

I personally like how certain humans are able to hold their own against some of these incredibly powerful beings. Granted this often has to with some manipulation from other powerful beings. However the core structure of the whole series is a war between gods with their human pawns trying to get some sort of upper hand. I for one thought way back in Gardens of the Moon that Anomander Rake was ridiculously powerful, as was the Jaghut Tyrant. I also knew chacters like Kalam, Quick Ben, and Krupp were a hell of alot more powerful then they let on. I don't think Erickson is making characters more powerful so much as explaining more clearly the scope of that power.

He has introduced several more characters who are even more ridiculously powerful since that first book though.

but it is kind a stupid - i mean in midnight tides tiste edur so much outnumbered, nad then few more wizards obliterate so many soliders. It is not realistic that magic always equals and denies it self on both sides. When so much power involved this is how it should be - midnight tides example - but that is pointless. Why even bother then with hopeless people and good swordsmen? there will always be more powerfull mages and warrens. and how can one warren negatate all others? I mean humans can use only few...
for battles to be realistic one army should just totally obliterate the other in seconds in this world.
To be realistic = it has to be just plain dumb
