Well for me it's alot of the villians from Terry Goodkind. Darken Rahl gives me brown underwear and Nass is one sick f*** I just want to hurl at the stuff he finds pleasure in. Well lets expand on this one.

Hard to say...

Prince Regal from the Farseer Trilogy was certainly the villian that annoyed me the most, i hated his guts.

In the Sara Douglass books the villans were all sick and twisted things, but the Leader of the Demons Quteb was a pure animal yet his dry wit made you love him and hate him all in the same sentance.

I have to admit I thought Darken Rahl was a great villian, though I'm not a real big fan of Goodkind. Murmandamus (sp?) was a great one also, human to a point but god-like in another.

I think Kitiara (from the Dragonlance series) is a great villain. She is evil, powerfull, but with human wicknesses also.

Randal FLAGG, the walkin dude (surprise surprise I pick him, he he http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/wink.gif

I also liked Gerald Tarrant from Coldfire, though whether or not he is truly a villian is questionable.

Captain Kennit is a good "villian" because you get to almost admire and like him before he gives into his villianous true instincts.

Let's see, you guys have already mentioned Darken Rahl, Randal Flagg, and Prince Regal. Who's left that i've read about? Sandor Clegane from Martin's books is a pretty excellent character. dunno if he's really a villan or not, though...I suspect he's actually more of a misguided anti-hero, though I confess to just liking him, so i'm probably biased. In the same books, most of the Lannisters other than Tyrion are pretty despicable. Sauron is sort of cool in a biblical evil sense. There's no wondering about what his intentions are...I also liked the ringwraiths (nazgul). I know it contrit, but I always thought Queen Bavmorda from the movie "Willow" was a real bitch too.

I think that prinve Regal is the only villan that I really hate. Most other viallans that I read about might be really bad adn evil but I never seemed to really hate them, they are always 'cool' in a way with special powers etc.Prince Regal however just has a disgusting character, he's greedy and egocentrial and vengeful...maybe it's the fact that he is closer to what alot of real people in our own wolrkd are like then others 'greater the life' villans are that makes me hate and despice him so much.

I love this category!

I think Darken Rahl was a pretty evil guy, but for those that like R.A. Salvatore how about Entreri. He was evil in a way that made me almost like him. He was smart and really awesome.

I also think Jagang is a pretty sick individual. How i would love to have his powers.

Well i cant think of anybody else that is all that evil.
