So maybe this is an impossible search, and this may be the wrong place, but a good few years ago I read a book and now it keeps bugging me that I don't remember what it was.
Roughly, what I remember (and this may not be very accurate) is:
Maybe it was a young adults book... I think there were either no men or very few... something about cloning.

I know this isn't much to go on, and it's a long shot, but if anyone has any ideas it would be great :)
