I need recommendations for a book in the fantasy genre that's really going to make me cry. The sixth Harry Potter book was close, but not quite there, and I nearly came close during aSoIaF, but many of the scenes that others found depressing I simply found suspenseful.
So, any recommendations?

I think there was a thread a while back titled 'books that made you cry' that you might want to check out. Watch out for spoilers though.
As for me, Robin Hobb, LOTR, The Dark Tower, Fionvar Tapestry, Enders Game/Speaker for the Dead, Narnia when I was a kid, A lot of people get choked up by Erikson's books, especially Deadhouse Gates and Memories of Ice.

Therefore, I'm closing this thread.
