Sad to hear that Clarkesworld is shutting down. What a shame. Isn't there anyone who wants to take it over?

Yeah I'm bummed. I get all of my small-press releases through him, especially the stuff that's a pain to get in the states like PS publishing.

Damn, they were the best place for small press, collectable, and magazine purchasing.

Anyone else know of a comparable place?

Is Neil offering to sell the store?

I didn't know. I linked to him in my blog...

...just now read his note on the website. I'm off to place an order and will continue to recommend him until he is no longer selling. So sad, but I'm happy for their family news.

Don't know Rob. Want to buy it with me? I have a warehouse that can handle all the inventory and shipping.

Count me in, Gary!

If you gimme a job, I'll come to NYC and run the place for you...

I was also interested in contacting Neil to see if he was open to discussing keeping the store open. I live just a few miles outside of Philadelphia.

It's all run online, Justin. Not that I don't want you to move to NYC. :)

I'm serious though. I have a warehouse that could handle all the inventory and shipping. But someone needs to take the order and place the orders, manage things etc etc.

Darn, I soooo wish I didn't have cancer treatment for the next several months! That's something I'd really like to do!
