What is the point of this thread?

There are quite a number of threads discussing/dedicated to Mieville:
Un Lun Dun (http://www.sffworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15788&highlight=mieville)
China Mieville's Place in the World (http://www.sffworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6819&highlight=mieville)
December 02 Book - PERDIDO STREET STATION (http://www.sffworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4093&highlight=mieville)
China Miéville (& Is China Miéville worth it?) (http://www.sffworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11814&highlight=mieville)
The Scar- China Mieville January 2003 Fantasy Book Club selection (http://www.sffworld.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5185)

His mentioned quite a bit in these:
Seeking a kind of 'Urban/Contemporary' Fantasy Recommendation (http://www.sffworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15551&highlight=mieville)
Dark Fantasy Reccomendations... (http://www.sffworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7514&highlight=mieville)
Can an authors personal views put you off their work? (http://www.sffworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8908&highlight=mieville)
Who are the great new authors? (http://www.sffworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8088&highlight=mieville)

I like Mieville as much as the next person, but this will likely be pretty redundant, so I'm closing it.
