what would everyone change in certain fantasy books? eg i'd love to read the Wheel of Time with Elayne erased from its pages because i really really hate her. and i'd also have diarmuid in the fionavar tapestry not die and then earn everyone's respect at the end because he doesn't deserve it because he's a rubbish character as well.

I'd like Terry Goodkind's books to be blank

What would I change?

Easy...

1) Wrap up series after 10 books? Hint Hint Jordan!

2)Reasonable Publishing Dates. Eg - 2.5 year wait between books?

3)Wrap up a Story and move on!

=)

I'd change the wheel of time radically. I'd have Rand eventually turn and have the whole series end with dark overtones.

I'd have the bad guys win for once...notice how that NEVER happens?

And also, don't want it to be continued...no rebels rising out of the ashes of an enslaved race, ready to fight their captors to win their freedom and rights, no hero destined to be the saviour of mankind and no, no, NO bad guy having a change of heart and starting to work as a double agent.

Umesha, read George R R Martin if you haven't already. The SoIaF isn't finished yet but i've got a feeling it's not gonna have a fairy tale ending.

I would make rand go insane and kill off all the aes sedai while laughing.

Oh, Oh, Oh,
I forgot about Faile. I would kill her off in the most excruciatingly painful way possible. Actually i'd probably make Perrin Kill her in a domestic violence incident.

I just wished that so many fantasy book hero's didn't start of there lives as young, poor, kitchen, stable boys.

I would not have given the females in the WOT as big a part of the series as Jorden has.Not that I hate females but the ones in theses books really make it hard to for me to want to finish the books.
