Just an organisatory question

Some topics, e.g. the topic asking what we're all reading, get many replies - in this case it's over 100. I myself must say that I do not even open these topics because I have to wait quite a time only for pushing my 'scroll down' button hard afterwards to get to the end, to read the latest replies and maybe to write some lines myself.
If possible, I would suggest that after 50 replys or so somebody starts a new topic with the same title (and maybe a 'continued' in the subject) and tells shortly what important things have been said in the previous one - i think it would be easier this way to continue long-lasting discussions whithout having to wait ages for the server...
Tell me what you think about this, please! http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I never have had a problem with the speed of this server. But lately It seems quite a bit slower then normal.I am about 80% sure its not my PC.Has any one else had this problem or is it just me.

I still love this site and will keep coming back even if it was the slowest on the net.

One thing that would help would be to have a link to each page of a topic after the topic name i.e. "Just an organisatory question 1 2 3 " this way you could go streight to the last page in a topic if you have already read the others.

I have been on other forums that do this.

Yeah the 123 thing Denizm is talking about is quite common in alot of other forums i've been too. It's a good idea.
