April 5th, 2007, 03:29 AM
(Not sure if this is the right section to post this in, but here's a bit of info for any Pratchett fans in the general Portland/Oregon/Washington area.)

Reed College's student-run Shoestring Theatre presents Terry Pratchett's "The Truth" (adapted by Stephen Briggs)! A tale of conspiracy at the highest levels of Ankh-Morpork society. A story of the brave journalists that fight it. . . and of their informant, the dog Deep Bone.

When:
SAT April 21 7:30 P.M.
SUN April 22 1 P.M.
SUN April 22 7:30 P.M.

Where:
Chapel, Eliot Hall
Reed College
3203 SE Woodstock Blvd
Portland, OR 97202
(see http://web.reed.edu for directions to campus/a map of the campus)

Who:
Directed by Toms Kreicbergs, the cast consists of Reed students plus a few Portland area actors.

What to expect: Theatre over spectacle. Limited budget, but plenty of show. Runaway hilarity. And a zombie lawyer.

Cost:
$0. Yes, FREE. E-mail otto.von.chriek ATTE gmail DOTTE com with your name and the date/time you want in order to reserve a seat. (atte->@, dotte->.)

Note: Performances organized by arrangement with rights holders AC Black.
