The Fantasy Oscars

The 73th academy awards ceremony was held not too long ago. here is my own little oscar ceremony in the fantasy genre:
the tunics were hot, the musclework was tantalizing, and the capes were smashing.
and the oscars goes to:

Best supporting male character: tasselhof burefoot.
Best supporting female character: kitiara
Best special effects:The Amber series
Life Achievment Award: JRR Tolkien
Best song:"Don't wanna miss a thing",
performed by "The Kenders"
Best male character: drizzt d'ourden
Best female character: morgaine, a.k.a morgan le fay
Best book: Dragons of Spring Dawning

A Disclaimer: This ceremony is subjective, and is not based on books I havn't read ,
so take it all with a grain of salt, my congratulations to all the winners, there's a party later in the night, don't forget!

Did you see Kitiara's dress. That thing was just horrifying. You would think that taste would be part of her character, but after seeing that dress, I would have to say it is not. http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

And I can't believe she came with Tanis! Those two are worse the Pam and Tommy Lee!

At least this one was short enough so that no kender said that they were bored. I did see a few kender sneaking around during the ceremony picking up a few things that people "dropped" or "left unattended". Luckily, they didn't try using any random rings they found. We could have seen just a few award winners go up in smoke had that happened.

Well, at least the acceptance speeches were short... I liked Kitiara's, especially the part where she said that "I got this award because of my own effort, therefore I only need to thank myself." And did you see the presenters jump back when Tas came to collect his award?
