Hello everyone, it's great to be here!:)

I remember reading a sci fi book about this guy who was a truck driver on some inter-galactic highway, but I cannot remember the name of the book, nor the author. The cover grabbed my attention, because it had a huge futuristic looking semi on it.

If it helps, I picked this up new in 1990 or 1991.

Any ideas as to the author or title?? I got it when I was younger, and never finished it, and would really like to get a hold of it again-and read more books by the author.

I know the series..

Starrigger is the first book, written by John DeChancie..

The next book is called Red Limit Freeway, and the final book Paradox Alley.

Read them a loooong time ago, but, loved them.. Still got em.. :)

I have a similar problem...

Long time ago I read a story, but I cant remember who was the author or what was the title. I only remember this little:

* it took place in future where the main character did some kind of crime and as punishment something was tattooed to his forhead and people were not allowed to talk to anyone who had this kind of tattoo.

To see a Invisible Man, by Robert Silverberg. It's a short story by him..

They also made a Twilight Zone episode out of it, well, the new Twilight Zone from the 80's.. Remember liking the episode alot..
