Hi all

Just had a look at his biography and wondered of the books mentioned which are fantasy? (apart from the ASOI&F of course!!!)

Also any recomendations? - it just hit me that i have been reading asoi&f since book 1 and never read any other of his work - very remiss

Most of his other written work is not Fantasy.

Windhaven (but it is a collaboration, though not totally GRRM. Still good though, if I remember correctly).

Fevre Dream is a horror story involving vampires. Not Fantasy but pretty good.

Armageddon Rag is Horror too.

Dying of the Light is SF. Early Martin but I enjoyed it.

Ice Dragon is Fantasy, though short. (It is in DreamSongs - see below). So too The Hedge Knight and Sworn Sword novellas.

My recommendation would be for a copy of DreamSongs / A rRetrospective (same book, different continents!) A huge - sorry, HUGE - book, covering short stories across his full range. You might find stuff in there you like.
