Well I just happened upon this forum yesterday and There seemed to be some very good discussions going on. so I thought I would say hello.
My name is Greg, I am 20 years old and currently lived in Miami Florida. I started reading fantasy when I was 14 , My brother introduced me to Terry Brooks. Since then I have gone on to read other authors such as , Martin, Jordan, Feist, GoodKind , Eddings , Bunch , Tadd Williams' (Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn series), Shadow Moon by Chris Claremont ( author of X men)and George Lucas, The Bazil Broketail series by Christopher Rowely, Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman's death gate Cycle, Peirs Anthony, and some other books that I don't even remember the titles to.
Right now I would have to say I enjoy reading Martin more than any other author.
He seems to be keeping things moving and making more twists and turns in the plot.
While Jordan has done nothing with his last three books.
So there u go , a little info on me

Metosblat & RA are a bit shy, they are a very reticent about new people on the form... http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif What they really meant to say was...
HELLO DUDE!!
What do you read? Why do you read it? Don't give us no Eddings crap (unless you realy like him), don't mention Tolkien, don't for God's sake even think of slagging off the following authors:
Jordan (this I can forgive)
Goodkind
Martin
Hobb
King (Stephen), if you do, I will have to kill you.
Tad Williams
Stephen Donaldson
RA Salvatore
David Farland
Dennis Miller
Unles, of course, you feel like you realy have to... in which case... go ahead.
Now, have I forgot anything... no... oh yes... Welcome Lord Raziel.
Yes, I am a doofus... so what! http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

Don't have a seat, wander around, meet people, eat some of the food. If you sit down, then the discussions will be based solely in one topic or two, go from person to person and converse with the masses. Anyway, walking is good for you, it gets the blood circulating. Also, the food here is great. Try some of those finger sandwiches. I hear they are actually fingers.. Also, try some of those little round things that FitzChivlary is always hanging around. They are supposedly good if you can get around Fitz to get one.

It is chocolate cake, but I think dennizm brought it, so I don't know how much I would trust it. I hear that if his life depended on the baking of a cake, then he would have to have someone get lots of glue and learn how to put a 3-D Puzzle together. http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif
