I finished reading Armor by John Steakley today and it was one of the best sci fi books i ever read.
Felix is maybe my favorite sci fi character ever (Ender forgive me).
The reason i put it here and not in the Science Fiction folder is that i wanted to ask about Vampire$, anyone read that book?
I saw the movie and it wasn't that good...
Is the book worth reading and did seeing the movie means i spoiled the book for myself?
I want to read more John Steakley.

Oddly enough, Fitz.. I've never read Armor, but, I have read Vampire$..
And I saw the movie. The movie is utter utter trash..
Though, the book itself is amazing. I really was susprised when I read it. It isnt as 'action' oriented as you may think, and I found that the characters in it were well fleshed out. One thing I do remember about the book was that it was dark, and depressing..but, never less, I really enjoyed it.
Read it. =)

I didn't think the movie was all that bad, but then I have a high tolerance level for cheesy B-grade horror movies and plus it has James Woods in the lead.
