Hello. I'm called Bardos, by many, and I'm from Greece.
My fanourity autors are Moorcok, R.E. Howard, Margaret Weis, Tolkien.
Yep, I like the classics more than the new ones.
Which are your favourite author(s)?

My favorite author is Roger Zelazny and if you like the classics you should read his Amber Chronicles.

My favorite author, currently, would have to be George R. R. Martin. His world is believable, engaging, and realistic, and his characters are painted with shades of gray, not the broad strokes of black and white that a lot of authors use. I highly recommend his A Song of Ice and Fire, the first book of which is A Game of Thrones.

My favorite author is lesser known I guess. Joel Rosneberg, he's writing the Guardians of the Flame series. Also he's working on the "Keepers of the Hidden Ways." I really love his books . . .

Question for Azurehero - I have read the first three books of Rosenberg's Keeper of the Hidden Ways series. Do you know if there are going to be more, and if so, when will they be available?

Some good ones are Ray Feist (hehe, as if I wouldn't mention him), David Gemmel, Tad Williams, and Guy Kay.
I'm gonna try picking up George Martin in a few months. He sounds too good for me to put him on my indefinate list.

Macros--Give yourself a good amount of time to read Martin's books--they are BIG--all are between 800 and 1000 pages. Judging by your choices of Williams and Kay, you should not be disappointed.
I will be starting Magician: Apprentice by Feist as soon as I finsish A Storm of Swords by Martin.
I have been trying to find the first few books by Rosenberg in the Guardians of the Flame for some time, but they look to be out of print, I have heard good things though about the books.
