Yes.
I was at the Fantasy Fair in the Netherlands this afternoon and after recently being confronted with the publsihing delays of Sean Russell (originally March, now August) and Tad Williams' War of the Flowers (originally fall, now unknown but won't be out this year!) there's no GRRM. When first asked about the AFFC release date, he only said it was "definitly behind schedule" something Martin fans have known for a while. But when someone pressed the point he seemed to want to avoid he did say: "I really couldn't tell right now. Maybe Spring 2003, but maybe not. It's a big book"
Very disappointing. It was due in Fall this year, it even says so on the website. Probably six months delay, if not more. I hope this doesn't sound to negative, I certainly want him to write good books and take his time for it, it's just that this is a huge delay, and not the first this month.
