SueVee... you have just asked the 64,000 dollar question, her website has not been updated since May 99, very little info to be found anywhere else... JVJ seems to have just disapeared into thin air...
... in short, I have no idea, but this is a book I am very much looking forward to, I just hope it IS published.

I have seen both August and November. I think one is the UK date and the other is the US date.
I think her mother got sick and JV was helping her out, thus the delay. Lets hope mom is OK.
I have been debating picking up the Book of Words trilogy after LOVING Cavern of Black Ice, but it looks to be VERY standard orphan bastard wins in the end type of story. Any thoughts?

I just finished reading 'A Cavern of black Ive' two days ago. It was ace. Can't wait till 2 August for 'A Fortress of Grey Ice' (UK). I'm not sure when It comes out in the USA.
I picked up 'The Baker's Bot' yesterday, so far its been O.K, but i don't think it'll beat 'Sword of Shadows series', which i loved.
Don't forget to vote for her: http://www.sfbookcase.com/author.asp?forename=J%2EV%2E&surname=Jones

I didn't care for the Book of Words trilogy. It wasn't anything I hadn't read before. It almost stopped me from buying "Cavern of Black Ice." I am glad I took a chance as her new series is far superior.

The Book of Words is a very good read, with a wonderful side plot between two enemies, each taking pot shots at each other, the 'orphan becomes good' plot is there, but approached differently... and you have just gotta read the collective wisdom of Bodger and Griff.
