I might be a different type of film fan from others here (I don't really know), but has anyone here ever seen Shogun's Samurai (柳生一族の陰謀, Yagu ichizoku no inbo)also Intrigue of the Yagyu clan (aka Yagyu Clan Conspiracy) is one of the best movies I've ever seen. It is Japanese w/ subtitles--that may be a turnoff to some--but is fantastic. The story, cinematography and action put together makes for an unfogettable movie. If you haven't seen it yet, try and get your hands on it (I know it's rare, lol).
