omg..i love the third book!:D :D my views completely changed...and that just tells all you ppl that havent read it if you can go from hating a charcter to that......i love the third book...but the ending..oh man:(

Black Magician Trilogy: Trudi Canavan has now moved up to the VERY top of my list of favorite authors, along with Alison, Tamora Pierce, David Clement-Davies, and a few others. But I want to wait until the third book in her new trilogy comes out, because I don't think I could wait for a year or more to read it after reading the first two....:eek:
[Black Magician spoiler]The only complaint I have about those books is that it seems like the plot has a few too many twists....As if she was at first commissioned to write one book, and then when it did well turn it into a trilogy. At first, the conflict is Sonea vs. Magicians. Then it changes to Sonea vs. Fergun. Then it's Sonea vs. Regin. Then Sonea vs. Akkarin. Then Sonea vs. the Ichani. Then Sonea vs. Magicians. And then, at the end, it's Sonea vs. the Ichani again. Too few changes in the conflict make a book/series seem to be a bit too long or boring, but did we really need this many? Aside from that, though....AMAZING!!!!! Ree, you really do have too much time on your hands....But I like the movie. :p:D

Is a spoiler really necessary? I am not the only one that stated something of the sort of distraughtness. :( Besides, I can never get spoilers to work for me.
Anyway, have you read any good books recently?

I Love Tolkein too my brother got me for Christmas a book titled A Tolkein Miscellany. I am gonna read it soon, but it has some of his short stories. Btw I love that word...miscellany. :D :D
