My dad's like that. And he cannot get it into his head, no matter how many times i tell him, that music is good for learning. It's a proven fact apparently. And he can't understand that it helps me learn. :(
And no, Tiger Wolf I haven't. What's it about?

Yes, my parents do do that...sometimes they send my older brother to make me get off.
It's a spin off of the stupid damsels in distress stories:
Many stories tell of damsels in distress, who are rescued from the clutches of fire-breathing dragons by knights in shining armor, and swept off to live happily ever after.
Unfortunately, this is not one of those stories.
True, when Creel’s aunt suggests sacrificing her to the local dragon, it is with the hope that the knight will marry Creel and that everyone (aunt and family included) will benefit handsomely. Yet it’s Creel who talks her way out of the dragon’s clutches. And it’s Creel who walks for days on end to seek her fortune in the king’s city with only a bit of embroidery thread and a strange pair of slippers in her possession.
But even Creel could not have guessed the outcome of this tale. For in a country on the verge of war, Creel unknowingly possesses not just any pair of shoes, but a tool that could be used to save her kingdom…or destroy it.

That sounds interesting. Reminds me of the Enchanted Forest series by Patricia Wrede, about the princess Cimorene who wants to get out of marrying a prince so she seeks out dragons to become their servant. It's really funny :)

I Have actually! It is and if you like the Roy/Riza paring the manga gos into there past and there a se-Nevermind:Spoilers Sort of
Her minor role has become more prominent as the story develops, as she works alongside Mustang in capturing Barry the Chopper and the Homunculus Gluttony. There have also been more scenarios in which we are able to see her emotional side. In particular, when Lust tells her that Mustang is dead, Riza becomes visibly upset and empties three handgun magazines (about 20 rounds) into the Homunculus before breaking down in tears.Vol.10
I've got all of the manga that's out: 1-14

I haven't read FMA, but I love Furuba (Fruit's Basket) and another one of my all-time favorite manga (well it's a manhwa, technically) is The Queen's Knight. It's a little obscure, but if you find it, READ THEM. The first book isn't the best, but the second and after are awesome.

The Beast Of Noor:
Late one night,
piercing screams awake the villages of Noor.
And the next day the bones of a young woman are found deep in the surrounding forests. Terror courses through the hearts of the villagers, along with something else...relief. An attack such as this is not uncommon in Noor.
The Shriker, a massive beast of unimaginable strength and rage, has roamed the dark woods for nearly three hundred years, savaging those unfortunate enough to encounter him. The people of Noor have lived in fear for so long that most have forgotten that the Shriker was once a loyal dog until the day his master betrayed and cursed him, condemning him to life as a monster. But Miles and Hanna Ferrell have never forgotten where the Shriker came from -- how could they? It was, after all, their ancestor who betrayed the dog
