Hi all i went away for a bit... back now!
I've just read a whole load of Tamora Pierce books including the immortals quartet which i read for the first time. It features a girl slightly younger than Maerad called Daine. Features the usual.... power.... friendship......secrets about parents....... and some love at the end.
Very good, i recommend reading it.

I just finished the "Pagan" series by Catherine Jinks. They're a historical account of the life of Pagan Kirouc (I think that's how it's spelt) and Catherine's writing style is great in it! She writes so every detail is interesting, believable, genuine and hillarious (except for the sad parts that made me cry). Well, as soon as I read the first one from the school library I just had to finish the series so if you decide to read them, have all four of the (quite short) books next to you.

Hiya
Has anyone read Airborn by Kenneth Oppel? Sort of fantasy but not like pellinor. its quite hard to work out when/where it is set. Someplace like Earth which might/might not be earth. I dont think i ever worked it out.
p.s. Kenneth Oppel has also written a trilogy from the viewpoitn of a bat. They're called, silverwing, firewing and sunwing. (i think) not bad read

I read Airborn when I was 12 (three years ago). Didn't really like it though. I found it to be quite boring and predictable.

I suppose it was a bit predictable...... don't suppose you've read the sequel; Skybreaker. Its only just come out and my library dont have it yet.
So what else do you read cheese?
