never heard of her. are they good?
So-so... She reminds me a lot of Tamora Pierce. Most of her books are set in the same realm like how TP does the Alanna quartets, Protector of the Small, and the Tricksters books. I hope that made some sort of sense. :p
Does anyone know if TP is going to write a sequel to Trickster's Queen?

She already wrote it, but as a script. There's a recording for sale right now. I think she's working on turning the script into a book right now, which is also another thing I'm looking forward to reading.
And, yes, I LOVE Niko! I started a fic a while back depicting him in his younger years. It's (of course) a romance. But yeah, it was, like I said, a while back so it's not extremely well-written, but the link's here if you're interested in reading it:

Summary, as it appears on FF: Everyone was young at some time. Once, Niko Goldeye was Niklaren fa Chamere, the rash, independent, and brilliant mage. And once, there was a woman he loved. An epic, witty adventure with a lot to do with love and even more to do with disaster.
I like it! Are you ever planning to finish it?

And to Savendia-- I have another chapter written from a while ago, but I don't know if I'm going to finish it. I just didn't think that it was very good.
But thank you for reading it all the same :)

That's awful...at least she's okay. My first thought was that she had been hit by a drunk driver and KILLED, and she was unable to finish her books because of her DEATH.
I think I would actually cry.
Ahhh I don't even want to think about it!!!

Icelands, YOU wrote that? I love that fic! :D I just didn't comment because I usually only comment on Pellinor fics...and I didn't twig that it was the same Icelands
But yeah, Niko is my favourite character as well! I was soooooo peeved that he wasn't in The Will of the Empress - the rest of the book was great, but I was annoyed that TP didn't even MENTION where he was!
I really want to read the Immortals, but I can't find them in bookshops ANYWHERE.

That's what libraries are for. Though mine probably gets tired of me taking the same 3 books out all the time... Guesses as to which 3 that is?:D;)
I didn't really like Will of the Empress. Niko wasn't in it for one, and for another, I hate books that involve themes of fractured friendship. I got so mad at Maerad for shunning Cadvan in the Riddle when he was only trying to help her.
