Ahh Narnia... I read all those books back when I was ten years old, too. I don't remember much, I don't even remember all the titles! But I do remember that I really liked Aslan, and that I liked the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe because it was all magical-winter-wonderland-ish. You know? I love those kind of settings... they just... transport me. There's something about it that I just love.
Hey we're reading Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad in English right now. Has anyone else read it?

No is it any good? what's it about?
I read the Narnia books years and years ago!
Doesn't annoy you that people always seem to think that the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is the first one and always seem to forget the Magician's Nephew?
I think that one is quite good as it explains things that happen in the Lion, the witch and the wardrobe!!

I haven't read too far into Heart of Darkness yet, but it's not really my kind of book. This is what it's about:
"In Conrad's haunting tale, Marlow, a seaman and wanderer, recounts his physical and psychological journey in search of the enigmatic Kurtz. Travelling to the heart of the African continent, he discovers how Kurtz has gained his position of power and influence over the local people. Marlow's struggle to fathom his experience involves him in a radical questioning of not only his own nature and values but the nature and values of his society."
And yes, it kind of annoys me that people think that L/W/W is the first of the Narnia books, too. It isn't... and people don't seem to know that the story doesn't end after L/W/W! There's, like, 5 books after that! Or is it 4? (I thought there were two books that come before L/W/W...)
