I have to say i like the silver chair quite a lot but found it completely different to the others. I have read narnia so many times, they are amazing.
Did you know.....
1. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis were good friends and had a group of literary friends were they all commented on each others work. (Bit like forums but no internet!!)
2. The chronicles of Narnia are based on Christianity and are an analogy of the main biblical story including creation (magician's nephew), resurrection (lion, witch and the wardrobe) and the end of the world/ heaven (last battle). with Aslan representing God/Jesus.

hmmm, i agree it is a good book, i read it a while ago and really enjoyed; it's quite sad though, how some people get so angry and destructive they wont listen to reason

I think the whole trilogy was really good it was amazingly written and It was scary how at some parts I even found my self sympathising with the LM it was so sad but the way the end was left to the imagination was really good.

i understand what u said about sympathising with the LM at times, these things get to me really badly; like how some people get so down they think the only way they can make things better is by lashing at people and hurting them back and they weren't so bad to start with its just what they've been thru has changed them and it sad thinking how someone innocent can turn out to be so cruel.
ps: sorry to get all doom an gloom on everybody
