And his stories about the powerful immortal Kane.
Any takers?
I checked some out and they seem awesome.

They're quite good. Night Shade Books is in the process of reprinting a good selection of them.

Well, I'd say snap up everything you can get from Karl, he was a gent and a damned fine writer, and his death was a crying shame. In the space of a few weeks we lost Karl Edward Wagner, Roger Zelazny and Bob Shaw, all three heroes... Reminds me I should indulge in some Ragged Astronauts again soon, thanks.

Indeed. It's late cuz I hear Kelly was late with turning in the cover, but it should be coming out any day. I've got a copy coming to me.

Llama, I e-mailed them and they told me that they were indeed waiting for the artwork. It should be printed in 5-7 days but a specific date was not known. He said it would be out by June at the latest, probably earlier.

Mith, okay, the best place to get your hands on old Kane paperbacks is abe.com, but they aren't cheap - which is one reason to be REALLY grateful that Jase at Nightshade is bringing them back... Black Gate 1 has a huge chunk from Dark Muse, which is beautiful... Kane is a dark hero, but Wagner was a terrific writer, he put a lot of the burdons of his soul into Kane... I only met him once, propping up a bar at a convention in England, but we drank the night away... he was a fascinating guy, a real megatalent... Please read him, and make your friends do it too http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

Kane is badass.
I'm really enjoying Nightwinds, which is the only really cheapish volume I could get hold of.
Has there been any news of bringing some of the Kane book back into print? As the Nightshade one is all gone to dust, and i've only been able to find some sporadic works.
