With "Land Of The Giants" coming to DVD later this year (or early in 2008), all of the major science fiction TV series of the 1960's will finally be on DVD except one...Quinn Martin's "The Invaders".
While it only lasted a season and a half, that's a half season longer than Irwin Allen's "The Time Tunnel" and "The Invaders", while very much a period piece, was a great example of cold war paranoia, not to mention having one of the spaceships of the era.
Is there any word as to when "The Invaders" will make it to DVD or any valid reason as to why it hasn't made it yet?
I know the 1990's Fox-TV movie was on DVD, at least for a while, but while it was an attempt to revive the series, it was rather lame at best.
Thanks!
