These are not necessarily in order, but I enjoy fantasy series with these fantastic creatures in them.

Well, kinda hard question, there are hundreds of them out there.

Dragons are good, as long as they are written as they should be, as an extremely intelligent race with magical powers, i don't like the dragons that are just giant flying dinosaurs that can spit fire.

Dark elves are cool too.

Kenders are funny and always supply a comical relief.

Vampires are the creatures with the most style.

But hey, how enjoyable the read of the creature depends more on the author than on the creature.

Hmmm...to answer the question...

It depends on how the author writes their characters...someone has one definition of a nymph, and then a week later, you read another book with a nymph, only to find, that by the first book's standards, it is more like an elf.

But generally, I like dragons (of course, pheonexes mermaids/men, half-demons/half-humans, half-gods/half-humans, half- faerie/half-human...I dunno, I like my charaters to have a bit of humanity running through their veins.

As for me:
1. Dragons. I especially love the Dragons in stories by Margaret Weis. Dragons can differ substantially from novel to novel so I noticed.
3. Elves, just can't get enough of elves.

3. ..lasty, Wood Nymphs for no particular reason.
