Yeah I know there are a couple of other topics on this, but they are pretty big (upwards of 140 posts) so I figured that's a good cutoff point.
Can be one book or the last few, doesn't matter.
Here's what I've read in the last month or so:
A Man Rides Through: Book 2 of Mordant's Need I really liked this duology. Donaldson is a master. Now to get his Gap Series.
The Worm Ouroboros by ER Eddison. Very tough read, good story, language was a tough hurdle to overcome. Put it aside for another time.
Harry Potter and the Soceror's Stone quick re-read before seeing the movie (which I still haven't seen http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/frown.gif).
The Chronicles of the Raven: Dawnthief/Noonshade/Nightchild This was an excellent series of books. Great characterization, great action and fight scenes good plausible story.

interesting book
Sword in The Storm, David Gemmell
i really enjoyed this, according to the
list in the front of the book his written
about 25 others- are the rest good?
The Cub, Ethyl Turner
not fantasy by any stretch of the
imagination but it does come under the
topic of recent reads
Fortress In The Eye of Time, C.J. Cherryh
currently reading, not sure what i
think yet but i'm still reading which is a
good sign

I had a bout with readers block at the end of October til almost mid November. I blame the PC game Stronghold! awesome game!
The last few books I've read :
Mickey Zucker Reichert's Renshai Chronicles
- Beyond Ragnarock
- Prince Of Demons
- Children Of The Wrath
Fellowship of the Ring to refresh my memory before seeing the movie.
Glen Cook's Black Company
- Black Company
- Shadows Linger
- The White Rose
After those, I have no clue on what to read next. My to-read pile is now over 140 books and still growing. I'm not sure if I want to keep going with the Black Company series or move on to something different!
My options are:
Robin Hobb's Liveship Traders.
Jennifer Robersons's Cheysuli.
John Marco's Tyrants and Kings.
David Gemmell's Drenai.
Sara Douglass's Wayfarer Redemption or Axis
or maybe read some of the fluffy light fantasy by TSR/WOTC. I don't think I had ever imagined I would be stuck trying to pick a book to read !

Perdido Street Station
I got this and the Otherland books at the same time. I read the first chapter of this and of City of Golden Shadow, and dropped this. It will be read soon however...
Tad Williams Otherland
Up to book 3. I'm waiting until Sea of Silver Light comes out in paperback so my set looks nice.
This guys deserves a medal for this series.
Dune: House Corrino
Sitting half read at home. When I get back in a few weeks, I will try and finish it quickly so I can get back to Perdido. I am not enjoying it much at the moment.

ummm lets see..
Lemony Snickets "The Hostile Hospital".
Louis de Berneieres "Senor Vivo and the Coca lords", "The Troublesome Offspring of Cardinal Guzman" and "Red Dog". The first two are quite good on par with "Captain Corelli's Madolin" but "Red Dog" is a bit of a let down probably because it's based on true events.
Patrick O'Brians "Master and Commander". Very boring start as the first 150 pages are spent describing every inch of a ship. But once the action starts it gets better.
Phillip Pullmans Dark thingy trilogy. geez he couldnt decide if he was writing a childrens book or a adult fantasy book.
Cheyenne Raiders(Robert Jordan): A good light western and you get to see where he got the idea of the Aiel from.

recent reads have been...
American Gods-Niel gaiman. Definitely one to read. I really enjoyed it. Although I enjoyed Neverwhere a tad bit more, just because of the settings, American Gods was a great read.
Drums of autumn-Diana Gabaldon. I enjoyed it as much as I did outlander, which is one of my favorite books of all time.
Storm of swords-Martin is on a role. I like each new book more than the last, and SoS was fantastic.
Currently reading dragon bone chair...
