OK lads & lasses!!

This argument comes up in nearly every bloody posting ive seen, lets have it out.....right here..... right now!!!

I have read the entire Jordan series 3 times, (sad hey)IMO I dont think there is fantasy writer out there who can match him ((( possible exeption George RR Martin but well see what happens there))). And yes before you start asking I have read Fiest (crap), goodkind (worse crap) eddings (the ultimate crap) tolkien (the first crap...haah just kidding hes ok).

look im not gonna get all mystical and start juding writers by how they incorporate magic into there worlds, or how a certain hero has bigger balls than the next one, im basing my opinion wholly on how well a writer can tell a tale.

Please get back to me, get offensive if you like i can handle it!!! hahah

I Agree! I think Jordan is the best, even though Martin is my personal favourite.
But Eddings is definitely not the ultimate crap there are alot of worse stuff out there(harry potter). You said your judging them on how they tell the tale, and Eddings is one of the best taletellers, even if he does steal ideas and tell the same tale over and over.

When I was reading eddings it just seemed childish and messy, thing is I have read alot of fantasy that i did not enjoy but I could appreciate what was likable about it, even if it didnt appeal to me. But with eddings uggg!!!

Actually... I AM the BEST fantasy author, so there!

As you can surmise, I'm fed up with this argument!

IS this a real post or just a chance for Jorden fans to run down all other writers.Well at least now you guys have the chance to only hear what you want to hear about the (as you call him "The master")

Yeah, this old news. Go read some of the previous posts. If you wanted to really discuss something here you would have at least given some reasons for why you like Jordan, but as usual-you didn't. Typical Jordan fan.

Tai'shar specifically said:

"look im not gonna get all mystical and start juding writers by how they incorporate magic into there worlds, or how a certain hero has bigger balls than the next one, im basing my opinion wholly on how well a writer can tell a tale."

I didn't give any examples because he was not asking for any.

You like how Jordan tells a tale.

*shrug* I guess to each their own. I can't stand him myself, personally.

Metpoblast, I was talking about Tai'Shar opening the post at all. If you just want to take a vote on who likes who then maybe a vote or something. Otherwise, the post has been done 10 times already.

But if you really think about it. If we didn't have these kinds of posts, what would we talk about?
