Hello, Hello, and Howdy to the hicks like me.

It's Flash Fiction Contest time again. As the winner of the last one it is my apparent duty to hold this one. So here we go.

Contest Clause: Mostly Dialogue. That's right folks, this one is about the gift of gab, or in this case, written gab. 85% would be nice, but all my "associates" are on vacation so if your under, their will be no knock on your door. At least from them. :D

How to Enter: You have 10 days to compose and publish your flash fiction story in the SffWorld stories section. (Add note on top to the effect that your efforts are for the Flash Fiction contest.) Leave a message in this thread with intent to participate or link to your story. Deadline is Midnight on Friday Aug 17.

Rules: It's Flash Fiction so 1000 words or less.
Mostly dialogue

In the interest of fairness I haven't started writing yet (when I say fairness, I mean I've not had time to sit or think anyway even though I've known this contest was coming.)

Would I be banned if I say something like, "85% is for wimps"? -- Okay, I won't say it.:rolleyes: I'd probably regret it anyway.
