Can anyone recommend books that are kinda like the Silent Hill games/movie?
Basically, a town with strange things happening, a mystery, very dark and a supernatural element.

Most Stephen King?
Needful Things is the most obvious to me.

Phantoms by Dean Koontz. And don't watch the movie.

You may not be a fan of Stephen King but his novella The Mist is basically the inspiration for Silent Hill. Its about a guy and his kid who get trapped inside this grocery store while the town is trapped in by this mysterious fog that holds these monstrous creatures. A DEFINATE read if you want a Silent Hill-like story.
And I second the recommendation of Phantoms.

Good ol' Silent Hill...The Mist is a good example of a book like that, but the Shining is also sort of, I thought, like Silent Hill in that it's about a place where really wierd things happen due to whatever, and you aren't sure whether it's all in their heads or real. They aren't any monsters, yeah, but...
