Hi,

I'm trying to remember the title/author of a short story for a paper I'm writing. I thought it was Bradbury, but I can't find it anywhere. The idea of the story is that this man finds a radio that can listen in to plants - grass, trees, you name it. He becomes horrified as he realizes that he can hear them scream as they chopped, mowed, etc... Any guesses on the identity of this story would be fantastic!

Thanks!

Uff, think this is Roald Dahl.

edit: Yup, 'The Sound Machine' from one of his grown up short story collections. 'Someone Like You' maybe?

I'm pretty sure that it was televised on 'Tales of the unexpected' also :)
