"The heavy flapping of wings reverberated down among the trees, and a vast bellow of sound crashed out. garion saw a huge billow of somky flame in the sky. outlined in that was the dragon, even bigger than he had imagined. her wings migt easily have shaded an acre. her cruel beak was agape, and flame writhed about her pointed teeth. she had huge talonsw and a long reptilian tail that lashed at the air as she plunged toward the clearing."

I think it was book 2 of the Malloreon, Kings of the Murgos. In fact i'm pretty sure of it but ther's always a chance i could be wrong.

Please, please, PLEASE, don't put quotes of Eddings on this board.
And why bother asking where this quote came from? It probably is in every one of his books. He is soooooo repetitive...

Pathir, you better back off, now. Everybody here has different likes and dislikes and you can't expect them to like or dislike the things you do. And it's extremely wrong for you to flame them for liking Eddings!

Yeah Tamlyn, youre right it is in book 2 of Mallorean - King of the Murgos, when they're in Arendia I think near the front anyway. God I cant believe i remember that cos the series was basically the same as the Belgariad.

Z16, you're right. I suppose that when you like Eddings when there are writers like Martin and Williams in the world, you already have problems enough.../just kidding, you actually have a point. People must of course read what they want. I won't flame the Eddings circle any further. But you shouldn't be too serious about ironic commends about it either. Just sit down, take a glass of your favorite drink, open one of Eddings books and relax. Life is too short to get all uptight about such things.
