i just finished reading the last book in the doom series Endgame. I loved these books and how far they went past the game. I'm kind of disappointed in myself though for not understanding exactly how the story ends. I'm very confused.

I have my theories of what the ending means, but i'm not totally sure and i want anyone who has finished this series to maybe help me understand it.

And is there anything that continues the story b/c at the end it says "The End....?" or something like that. It could just mean not the end for the characters, but i want to know if some other books came out or something- thanks.
