I just come across this fantastic website. Why have I been oblivious to this for the past 3 years? Oh well, as the saying goes - better late than never!

My favourite authors are Stephen King, GRRM, Weiss & Hickman, Zelanzy, Tadpole (Tad Williams!) and David Farland (Especially the excellent Runelords).

I am the editor of the local fantasy magazine in England (Kent - the county) which is called "The Trashcanman's Mag" (Dedicated to Stephen King's Character in the uncut version of The Stand" I publish it bi-monthly and it only consist of 16 pages. But I am proud of it and it has a staggering circulation of 50 magazines per bimonthly!! It is free as well!

hello. Just thoght i'd say i too am obsessed with Steven King. I ahve to say i'm a sucker for his classics and my favourite is The Shining. As for the rest of them, well they're all good too, exept Carrie, that was god awful in my opinion
bye bye, and welcome!

Tad Williams writes a good novel, as I loved Memory, Sorrow and Thorn. But King? I never was able to enjoy his work... not really scary, and far too much swearing for my taste.

Ancalagon, which King books have you read. I admit some are better than others, a couple I'd like to forget as much as I enjoy the majority of his work.

Zelazny, GRRM and W&H are some of my top favorite authors.
David Farland is pretty good as well.
King's books i find often too slow and too boring.
4 out of 5 is good i think.

To the Dragon of Angband, have you read any of King's Dark Tower books, or his Eyes of the Dragon, you may be pleasantly surprised, his is also a damn fine author of Fantasy.
