When is the 2007 short story contest?

Is there a section on this? I couldn't find it.

When is it and what are the rules and criteria?

The first hurdle in the contest is finding it. Those who do will be given clues to further deadly traps in their Quest.

You might look in the stories section. I haven't seen anything about it yet, but you never know. It hasn't really turned into a tradition quite yet.

I hope it's not too soon, I haven't a thing to write.

Running the contests is hard work for the poor suckers, oops, sorry, the volunteers that have to run it. Reading all the entries in a round robin vote is just part of it.

In the end it is down to the mods (I can hear Sheepie screaming now) whether they feel up to the challenge this year.

As to previous contests;

There was no entry fee.

There was a word limit and of course the subject had to fantasy SF or horror, or at least leaning that way.

And the prize was not a cash one, just a token gift.

A token for the whole system? Or just a few stations?

I think your name being up on the story page for a year is prize enough should you win the contest. :D
