Greetings. I need help finding the title of a book I read almost a decade ago. I know it was either the second or third book in a series. The book started with the main character (who has some sort of mental.mystis abilities) going to school, seeing a vision of a tanker truck hitting his school while he's sitting in class. He runs out, hits the fire alarm, everyone evacuates. He gets chided for doing a false alarm when the truck appears then, loses control going downhill to hit the school and explode.

Also, whoever else reads this, later in the book, the setting was in Peru. The final climactic events and everything had something to do with the Nazca Lines of Peru, and that they represented ancient evils and such. Thank you.

I think I may have read that book, but I can't remember the name of it either. It was part of a series about these kids with various PSI/mystical powers battling these ancient evil entities and their human servants. I seem to recall the authors name might have been something like Anthony Horowitz, if I'm thinking of the same series. There was another set in England and one set in Japan if I remember rightly.

Hmmm, it does sound like the kind of book that Anthony Horowitz would write, he has done quite a few children's books along this type of vein, but I cannot remember anything with this plot outline, it could be The Devil and His Boy, but I doubt it.

I too need help!

Greetings!

I read a Book in high school and I'm trying to find out the title or the author.

It was a Fantasy genre book. I was many stories set in the same time period all of them seeming to interconnect.

I will try to recall the parts I remember:

There was a wizard who thought he had one hand but instead another wizard had put his right hand under an illusion to make it look as though he had only one hand.

There was a Hunter, a cheiftain's Son who, as a right of passage, had to choose a new creature to hunt as his own. He chose humans and became a Man hunter.

There was a festival coming up and someone was trying to make a wine specifically for the festival. He hit upon a distillation process that produced almost pure alcohol.

There was also a white robed wizard who told stories in the courtyard.

Please help me... I would love to find this book again if only I could know the author or title.

thanks in advance...
