Another Test Drive of Forgotten Realms Fiction (Shadowbred)

For anyone who might be interested (and much like the previous test drive (http://www.sffworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17277)), I am posting the first five chapters of Shadowbred, book one of The Twilight War, as a downloadable pdf.

You can find it here: Shadowbred Test Drive (http://home.earthlink.net/~paulskemp/paulskempshomepage/id23.html).

If you have not read my work before, here's a chance to take it for a spin and see if it suits you. You need not have read any of my previous works to enjoy Shadowbred.

I hope you'll consider giving it a whirl.

I just finished up Shadowbred about an hour ago and thought it terrific. Much as I liked The Erevis Cale (http://www.sffworld.com/brevoff/395.html) trilogy, I like the tricksey writer Paul's developed into with Shadowbred. Some really good stuff towards the end with Cale and Riven.

Anyway, the third book in this series publishes in a few weeks.

Do you have to read the Erevis Cale trilogy first to get more out of the following 3?

I'd rather jump into the Twilight War since most Forgotten Realms books are dicey, relatively speaking, but I hear good things about Kemp.

Well, Kemp did write the Erevis Cale Trilogy, but I think the first book in the Twilight War would work if you didn't read the others.
