Hi. Between 10 and 15 years ago I read a SF series and for the life of me cannot remember the author and/or titles. I do remember some of the premise, so if anyone could help me that woud be great.
Family of pyschics (Acadian descent I think).
Villian was an uncle names Victor (also psychic).
Was in the future.
A race of friendly aliens had arrived on Earth and eventually removed most religions from the world.
One boy was such a powerful psychic he no longer needed a body to survive, his brain was enough.
Something to do with Mount Washington.
Technological advances allow for regrowth of humans and/or modification at a genetic level.
Also at some point in the series of novels, the Villian goes back in time to discover aliens in Earths past (I think this point is true, but I could be wrong).
I hope this rings true with someone else and I didn't make the whole thing up.
Cheers
