Hey all. I'm just doing some informal polling. I'm curious; how many of you ACTUALLY reads my column at SF Site, "Dislocated Fictions"? Do you like it? Hate it? Enjoy the reviews? Found them helpful?
Even if you normally lurk here, a gentle 'hello' here won't hurt you.

Thanks for your responses in advance.

Hi Gabe,
I have to say that I'm guilty of only having time enough to spend here! But, I'll certainly surf on over...when I get a chance. http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

I have read your column, in fact I responded to a comment you made about commercial spin-off material in the SF genre, however it was in this forum I put my response, and I was agreeing with you 100% http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

Me too, Gabe - but you knew that already! http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif
Your column's always a thought-provoker. Sometimes things do need a little shake-up, and you're just the man to do it. Like Dennizm, agree with you about the state of play in publishing at the mo.

New to sf/fa sites, this is my first find. Just off to take a peak. Any other sf/fa sites worth looking at ?
This site seems to be getting slower and slower.

Hello again, Gabe,
Well, I've had a quick tour through the SF Site, and also marched my way to the Revolution! I read your article there, btw; good words, Gabe, I like someone who can use a column such as that to tell it as it is. (We have to be a little more conscious of our children here!) But, I just loved the SF puberty and cheerleader analogy! http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif (see, I'm still smiling...)
Cheers,

I've been a regular visitor to Dislocated Fictions since its second issue, and I agree to a great extent with what you said there. I even surfed over to RevolutionSF yesterday, but I couldn't find your article, so I read Moorcock's review of Perdido instead. I love you for introducing me to that book, and will be sure to follow your recommendations in the future... http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

Aren't you the guy who does the Fat Fantasy awards?
Or was it the TV Reviews?
j/k
DisFic is always good and I find more writers/authors that I want to read in your column.

I read it as well, I actually look forward to your column in the hopes of finding new and exciting fantasy/scifi books..
I recently picked up Perdido Station on your recommendations, and is one of the books I plan to read on my vacation..(Hopefully)..
